The Oxford AI Conference – Summer Edition is a flagship two-day event showcasing the work of the Accelerator Fellowship Programme (AFP) and celebrating the achievements of its inaugural Fellows.
This session will specifically explore whether the 2022 White House Blueprint for an AI Bill of Rights could serve as a foundation for global norm-setting. Experts will discuss how this model might be adapted for international governance and what steps are needed to advance a global AI and human rights framework.
This closed roundtable event will bring together leading experts, including AFP Fellows Dr. Joy, Professor Cass Sunstein, Professor Alondra Nelson, and Professor Yuval Shany, alongside invited guests, for in-depth discussions on key issues in their respective fields.
The roundtable aims to foster meaningful discourse and forge new collaborations at the intersection of AI, ethics, policy, and society. Participants will explore critical challenges and opportunities in AI governance, rights, and innovation, contributing to the broader global conversation on responsible AI development.
More details on participation and engagement opportunities will be shared soon. For further information, please contact aiethicsafp@philosophy.ox.ac.uk
