Technology Leaders Initiative in Oxford 25-28 May 2026

The Institute for Ethics in AI at the University of Oxford, through its Accelerator Fellowship Programme, is pleased to host the Aspen Institute’s Technology Leaders Initiative (TLI) in Oxford from 25–28 May 2026.

The Oxford seminar forms part of a wider partnership between the Institute for Ethics in AI and the Aspen Global Leadership Network (AGLN), a programme of the Aspen Institute, launched to support a new generation of values-driven leadership in technology. The collaboration brings together Oxford’s interdisciplinary expertise in AI ethics with Aspen’s long-standing tradition of convening global leaders to address complex societal challenges.

The Technology Leaders Initiative was established to create space for senior technology leaders to engage with questions of ethics, responsibility and long-term societal impact in an era increasingly shaped by artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. Inspired by Aspen’s Henry Crown Fellowship model, the initiative will convene a cohort of 20 leaders from across technology, policy and civil society for a programme of discussion, reflection and peer exchange. Participation is by nomination only.

The Oxford gathering marks an important milestone in the partnership and will serve as the foundation for the wider two-year global programme. Further details and reflections from the event will be shared in a forthcoming blog post.
