This series of high-level discussions is convened by the Accelerator Fellowship Programme and led by our fellow, Professor Yuval Shany. It brings together leading experts, policymakers, and stakeholders to explore the need for—and pathways toward—an international AI Bill of Human Rights. Please note that these events, held under the Chatham House Rule, are closed and by invitation only.

Focus Area

A key theme of this consultation will be evaluating the suitability of existing UN human rights accountability mechanisms in addressing AI-related human rights violations. Experts will also discuss whether AI tools can enhance the effectiveness of UN human rights monitoring and enforcement.

This consultation will contribute to an AFP White Paper on the topic by Prof Yuval Shany.
