The future of health and social care with AI
Human creativity is essential to societies, cultures and progress. Developments in AI requires us to crAI is transforming health and social care by improving diagnosis, predicting risks, and personalising treatment. It supports caregivers with decision-making, automates routine tasks, and enhances coordination across services. Yet AI tools and their use also raise many ethical issues, some of which directly relate to values like privacy and non-discrimination and others to wider social and political considerations. In this project we focus on various pressing challenges, like the responsible use of AI in long-term caregiving, addressing power dynamics in healthcare systems and considering the impact of AI in mental health. The Oxford AI and Care Summit
