Angela is a technologist, community builder, and open-source software advocate passionate about building and using appropriate technology tools to impact the lives of disenfranchised communities, with over a decade of experience in software development, global community engagement, and non-profit organisational management. She is the Executive Director at Ushahidi, a global non-profit technology company that helps communities quickly collect and share information, enabling them to speak up, inform decisions, and influence change. She is also a Senior Fellow of the Accelerator Programme.
